Minister of Human Rights, Mashdal Mohammed Omar, strongly condemned today, Saturday, the treacherous assassination of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Shaer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nawras Private Schools and a well-known educational figure, in the temporary capital, Aden, while he was on his way to work.
In a post published on the X platform, the Minister stated that targeting educational personnel and civilian figures constitutes a flagrant assault on human values and reflects the seriousness of targeting civilian and educational professionals, thereby threatening community security and undermining efforts to achieve stability and build state institutions.
Minister Mashdal emphasized the importance of the competent authorities taking the necessary legal measures to uncover the circumstances of this crime, apprehend the perpetrators, and bring them to justice, in a manner that consolidates security and stability and safeguards citizens’ rights.
At the same time, he expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to the family and relatives of the deceased and the entire educational community, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His abundant mercy upon him and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace.
